Explore our Projects

From motorsports to experimental vintage aviation & conventional manufacturing to high temperature functional 3D printing; our team has helped businesses and enthusiasts achieve their goals.

  • Lockheed Martin Constellation A/C Ducting

1948 C-121 Lockheed Martin Constellation restoration project included a complete overhaul and modernization of the HVAC system (heating, cooling, fresh air). Contrive Design Innovations designed & manufactured critical & unique components via additive manufactung.

  • Constellation AC System - Design & Manufacturing

This unique project involved 3D scanning the internal airframe/wall structure and designing a multiple part ducting system that could be easily assembled/disassembled while maximizing the wall cavity area available for peak A/C system performance. To acheive these goals the entire ducting system was deisgned for additive manufacturing and produced on the Vision Miner 22IDEXv3 3D printer.

  • Constellation AC System - Hidden Flow Solution

To promote proper cool air flow to the forward cabin, an additional 4" SCAT route was developed and hidden under the right side drink rail and couch. 4x 2" SCAT connections were then routed up through the wall cavity to the upper valnce ducting.

  • Constellation AC System - Hidden Flow Design

Unique 3D printed manifolds were design and manufactured via Solidworks CAD and the Vision Miner 22IDEXv3. Incorporated into the experimental aircrafts valance AC ducting path with adjustable upward facing vents at each section.

  • Inboard Rocker Arm Suspension - CAD

With a history in Formula SAE, I've always wanted to develop my own raocker arm suspension for a full size street/track car. So I took on the challenge and this is the result. The hatch/trunk area was scanned & measured, then reverse engineering to create the working area for the rocker arm suspension. The result is a optimized motion ratio and rocker arm angle design that minimizes progressive/digressive rates in the suspension and allows the use of cost effective but very effective 2-way dampers.

  • Inboard Rocker Arm Suspension - Applied

In the pursuit of All Wheel Drive converting my 2009 Mazdaspeed3, I incorporated an inboard rocker arm suspension design that gave me 100% flexibility in design and implementation. The rsult is a drag race focus suspension that performs beyond expectations.

  • Mazdaspeed 3 - AWD Conversion

In the pursuit of performance...when applying 1000+whp traction becomes a huge limiting factor. Orginally a Front Wheel Drive vehicle; I design, developed and implemented an AWD conversion of my 2009 Mazdaspeed 3.

  • Mazdaspeed 3 - AWD Conversion Kit

Motorsport level performance in a nearly 100% bolt-on kit. Combining conventional subtractive and new age additive manuacturing to create the most complete and ready to use kit available for the Mazdaspeed 3.
